On March 19th, Shinee's new Mini album, "Sherlock" was released. Just by looking at the cover for it, I didn't think I would like it. The boys are dressed in raindow outfits looking like they're having a sleepover and built a blanket fort- you know the kind you when you were in elementary school with pillows, blankets, and the nearest shofa/chair you could find......

And don't get me started about their teaser photos!

EEK!!

Yeah.... Since Shinee has been one of the groups that has consistently released music that fits my personal taste, I gave the album a listen. I was pleased to find that some songs I actually liked. Others...not so much....

Shinee "Sherlock" teaser

About a month ago, I came across a music video for a new Korean Boyband. Now, I've always had a soft spot for boybands, but lately, Korean groups these days have seemed to be very lack-luster in my eyes. Every month 3 or 4 seem to be debuting and they all seem pretty much the same. But then I saw this group and their debut music video blew me away! At the time I did not realize it but this was not the debut song for some of their members- as a group, yes- but their rapper Bang Yong Gook and fellow member ZELO have done work away from their group as well. Last year, Bang Yong Gook released a solo single called "I Remember" and along with ZELO released "Never Give Up".
